Prince & Princesses of Oceana | Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Children Photographer

These girls are very lucky to have a mom who can design, sew and made the dress, costumes & outfit just like what they dream. This mermaid dresses were designed to perfect Arisha's (the eldest one) 7th Birthday Party theme that was held 2 weeks ago. Sadly, we couldn't attend the party due to my work commitment :-( but I'm very sure they had a blast.

Weeks before the party, the mom told me how excited she was in designing those costumes and we planned to have an outdoor portrait for them wearing it...but not before the party because she wanted to make a surprise :-) We were soo excited and eagerly sharing our stories and ideas for the session.

And the day had come.. We were very happy that everything worked as planned. Mom put so much effort on the set up ( I always love it when parents do that ). The kids having a good time with each other, playing bubbles and all, and feel very glad to be the mermaids and prince of that day.. and I had a great time photographing them; with a smile in my heart. I know I love what I am doing. Grateful it is :-)

It's raining. A cold day to start with :-). Hope this 'Sunshine' will brighten and cheer up your day!



Thanks to Chee and family for this opportunity and for being very supportive and helpful during the session. And Xuan, it was lovely seeing her enjoyed the session as much as we did!

And last but not least to two important guys in my life for making my ideas become a reality... Thanks for the new prop! A white fence made with love ;-). Love love it so much!! xoxo.

oh.. someone just asked me at FB where did I get the white fence. Yes.. my Hubby made it for me :-). We saw one (not exactly like this) at a shop while looking for new props .. smaller.. but it is too expensive to buy. Then Hubby said.. he can make it if I want. So I let him.. Not bad for a first timer kan.. hehhehe. Of course I love his version more :-) I thank him very much for his effort and to my son too for helping his Abah paint it white. :-) Now, he's been thinking to make another props.. white bench.. white box.. white stool.. all the white items.. hehhehhe... InsyaAllah.. :-))

Biarlah anak-anak kita berimaginasi.. biarlah mereka mengembara melalui akal pintarnya.. kadangkala kita lihat dirinya di suatu tempat.. sungguh asyik.. seolah2 berkhayal berada dalam satu keadaan yang sangat disukainya.. sokonglah dia.. kerana kita tak tahu, mungkin dengan imaginasi dari akal sekecilnya.. esok besar mungkin dia mampu menggegar dunia.. akal mereka mungkin kecil, tapi dunia mereka sungguh luas.

Biarkan dia meneroka alam.. bermain dengan rumput, pokok, air, hatta cacing sekalipun.. layanlah mereka berimaginasi.. tanya apa yang bermain dalam fikiran mereka.. galakkan mereka bercerita.. suruh mereka luahkan apa yang terbuku di kepala.. semoga mereka menjadi anak2 yang berani mengetengahkan pendapat.. walaupun agak janggal dan tak logik bunyinya.. apabila dia keliru.. kita betulkan.. jangan disanggah.... jangan diketawakan.. tapi beri galakan tanpa henti.. ambil tempat dalam imaginasi mereka.. mungkin kita perlu jadi rasaksa.. penguin.. godzilla.. atau mungkin mereka mahukan kita menjadi orang kerdil.. para mama mesti mahu menjadi puteri kayangan.. tidak kisah..ambillah tempat dan watak itu.. kerana dengan bermain dan berimaginasi dengan mereka.. ikatan kasih sayang akan semakin kukuh.. kita akan faham mereka. lebih.

Dia berimaginasi menjadi seorang Hero, seorang Fighter, seorang Warrior.

Terokailah dunia, anakku Irfan... Mudah-mudahan bila besar kelak.. dirimu akan menjadi hero.. pahlawan yang akan sentiasa mempertahankan Mama, Abah dan keluargamu, dari segenap sudut insyaAllah. Semoga mama juga sentiasa diberi keupayaan dan kesabaran dalam melayan setiap imaginasimu.

Kanak-kanak dan fantasi memang tidak boleh dipisahkan.. mereka mempunyai imaginasi sendiri tentang sesuatu yang kadangkala tidak terjangkau oleh fikiran orang dewasa.

Idea ni datang sebenarnya secara tak sengaja apabila saya dan anak menghabiskan masa bersama menonton DVD cerita2 kesukaannya di rumah beberapa bulan yang lepas. Waktu tu.. dalam satu masa, habis beberapa DVD kami tonton. Dari cerita Harry Potter ke cerita Peter Pan, kemudian tonton pula cerita Alice in Wonderland, dan Bridge to Terabithia. Dan apabila sampai turn untuk ke cerita LOTR, timbullah ilham apabila anak saya kata dia ingin menjadi Raja puak Gondor iaitu Aragorn sambil melakonkan gaya dia melawan Orc dan Urukhai. Kebetulan suami merupakan peminat fanatik cerita itu , saya pun terbayang2 mungkin saya boleh merealisasikan fantasi anak saya itu melalui gambar. Maka terhasillah gambar2 ini.. mungkin tempatnya tak secantik gunung ganang di New Zealand seperti di dalam penggambaran cerita itu.. mungkin tidak lengkap dengan kudanya.. pakaiannya pun tidak lengkap seperti seorang raja.. tapi saya sangat seronok dan berpuas hati kerana dapat sekurang2nya merealisasikan keinginan anak saya itu dan ada kenangan untuknya bila besar nanti. Di tepi highway kami parking kereta dan di atas bukit tepi highway itu kami ambil gambar2 ini. Yang paling penting kami bertiga sangat gembira melayan imaginasinya :-) dan dapat menghabiskan masa berkualiti bersama2.

Setelah gambarnya diambil, maka datang pula ilham untuk menjadikan ini sebagai salah satu pakej fotografi EOG yang baru. Dan terhasillah "Chasing FANTASY". Satu pakej yang mungkin dapat merealisasikan apa sahaja fantasi anak2 anda. Be it their favorite princess, prince or any of their fav charactors in movies or fairy tale or anything! Saya akan cuba memberi idea tentang apa yang tergambar dalam imaginasi mereka. Termasuklah dari segi props, lokasi dan costume!
