I was so much excited when J's mother contacted me again to arrange a photoshoot for her family. And this time, it's for their son's birthday. It has been a long while since I last photographed a birthday party. And I love the fact that I'm still in love capturing all those wonderful moments; the colourful environment, the beautiful set up, happy crowds, cute kids and what not. The love is getting stronger especially when I look at those memories worth documenting for. Who doesn't love a party right ;-) ?

J is such a big boy now. But his smile; the charming side of him is still the same like last year I first met him. I want to say thank you especially to his mom and dad for having me at the party. It was an honor for me to know that they loved the photos and album I made for them at the previous session, and because of that, they put their trust on me again this time. I feel so humble. And you know dear "A",  it is not just about the trust, but most importantly, it is about the friendship that has been built between us since the day we met. For that, I thank you.

Happy Birthday Paloma!

Paloma and her family are more than clients to me. A good friendship is built since the first day I met her mom, that was when she still carrying Paloma in her tummy. We had 2 sessions of maternity portrait and with the trust she's given us, we had a privilege to photograph Paloma when she was 8 days young. That was the first time I hold her in my arms. 

I feel so grateful that I have the opportunity to see her growing up and when she was almost 9 months, we met again for their family portrait in KL last August. (opppsieee! I hope I will got the chance to share that session here soon).

Time flies. Last year in December, we went to her house in Perak to photograph her newborn. And this year we had an honor to be invited again to their house to celebrate and photograph her 1st birthday party; definitely one of the meaningful moment to remember. She was surrounded with all the love she got around her, from her proud parents, her family that coming all the way from Brazil, and their family friends. We felt so happy to be part of the party as well.

I still don't get the time to browse each single photos I took that day (of course I shoot too many of them!), but here are some of my favorites :-)

Look! who's turning ONE!! | Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Birthday Portrait Photographer

For our regular blog viewers, you might recognized this pwetty pwetty lil' girl Madison ;-). This is the 4th time i got the chance to photograph her. You can view here, here , and here
for her previous sessions. Time flies so fast and she just turning one! These are portraits of her I managed to photograph during her 1st birthday party that was held not long time ago. It was an enjoyable party for her .. just look at those happy faces and fabulous smile of hers. Oh~~ so cute!

We still have one more session to complete her 1st year milestone documentary project, and it will be soon! I grown up with you, M.. hehhehe and we'll meet again ;-)!

Agak jarang rasanya saya upload gambar-gambar birthday party di sini. Bukan apa, kadang2 terlalu banyak gambar sampai rambang mata ingin memilih :-) pilih punya pilih.. punya pilih.. last2 tak ter upload langsung :p ngeeeeee.

Tapi hari ni, untuk semua.. saya bawakan kisah hari jadi Sofia dan Syafiq. Sudah 3 tahun berturut-turut saya berkesempatan merakamkan moment harijadi buat keluarga ini. Kalau dulu partynya bertemakan Hello Kitty dan Royal Princess, kali ini tema Mickey & Mini pula menjadi pilihan. Dengan bertambahnya ahli keluarga, majlis ini lebih meriah kerana di sambut serentak untuk kakak dan adik. Ok, mari kita lihat sahaja gambar-gambarnya ya!

Mad Hatter Tea Party the sneakie peekie | Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Birthday Photographer

Bermula dari Aloha Party dua tahun lepas, kemudian dengan Disco Party tahun seterusnya, mama kanak-kanak ini memang tidak pernah kering dengan idea. She never fail to impress me with her bombastic & fresh party ideas :-). Dan saya memang selalu tertunggu-tunggu apa lagi surprise yang akan dibuatnya setiap kali mengadakan party harijadi untuk anak-anaknya ini. Kali ini tema Mad hatter's Tea Party menjadi pilihan. Cukup unik dan menawan sekali untuk di hadiahkan buat dua orang puteri kesayangan.


Saya suka sangat gambar kat bawah ni. Can you spot the Mad Hatter on the screen? Kebetulan dapat snap masa mereka menayangkan Alice in Wonderland movie. It was like Mad Hatter is joining the party too kan! My son is a great fan of this movie.. and can you spot him in that purple hat tengah khusyuk tengok movie tu? He wanted to be the Mad Hatter too :-))


Thank you very much once again to Dian and family for having us at the party, for trusting me once again, for giving me the opportunity to document this beautiful event. Irfan enjoyed the party very much!

Buat Nabila and Dania, You two are sooo grown up! Semalam masa Auntie edit gambar2 ni, ada rasa sedih dan terharu sedikit.. especially bila dapat lihat kalian berdua membesar dengan sempurna dan merakamkan party harijadi Nabila dan Dania 3 tahun berturut2 buat auntie rasa special :-). Thanks to both of you too!

Double celebration | Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Birthday Photographer

Alahai lama jugak rasanya saya membiarkan blog ini terbiar tanpa sebarang update. Minta maaf untuk semua kalau ada yang melawat tapi tiada sebarang update.

Buat yang beragama Islam, harap tidak terlambat untuk saya ucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

Sebenarnya takde any specific reason pun for not updating this blog. Cuma masalah utama adalah MASA. Alhamdulillah, lately ni banyak juga yang booking untuk ambil gambar birthday party. Saya suka menghadiri birthday party sebab saya suka melihat kreativiti ibu atau ayah yang menjayakan majlis untuk anak2 mereka. syukur, dengan pekerjaan ini saya berpeluang untuk menyaksikan dan merakam detik2 gembira itu. Antara tema birthday party yang sempat saya rakam akhir2 ni adalahparty yang ini; Pirates & Princess Party, Little Red Riding Hood, Cowboy Girls, Chochoo Train for a 1 year old boy dan beberapa majlis lagi yang malangnya tidak sempat2 lagi untuk saya kongsi kegembiraannya di sini lagi. Oh.. saya cuba.. saya cuba.. insyaAllah.

Sebenarnya saya dah kenalpasti apa yang membuatkan sangat sukar untuk update blog ni hehhe..

1- Masalah saya yang sama dari dulu adalah untuk memilih gambar2 untuk diletakkan di sini. selalunya terlalu banyakkk yang saya pilih tapi last2 satu pun saya tak upload. nak pilih gambar pun dah makan masa. hehehhe.
2- Kemudahan Facebook. Sekarang saya banyak update sekeping dua gambar di FB dahulu kerana prosesnya lebih cepat dan mudah.
3- Process mengupload gambar yang memakan masa yang lama.. lepas upload di Flickr, saya kena amik linknya dan upload di blogger pula.. lepas tu saya kena betulkan pula codingnya.
4- Masa yang diperuntukkan sebagai photographer, ibu dan isteri memerlukan pengorbanan yang lebih. Kadang2 bila saya tengah nak upload, anak saya menjerit2 memerlukan saya. Maka apabila diberi 2 pilihan tu, sudah pasti saya akan memilih dia.
5- Himpunan gambar2 untuk diedit sudah memakan banyak masa. Saya mendahulukan kerja2 edit dan album untuk client siap dahulu. Lepas siap satu client, ada lagi yang bersusun untuk dilakukan process yang sama. Sudahnya, allocation masa untuk update pun kurang. lepas edit nak kena buat keja lain jugak, makanya tertangguhlah sessi mengupdate blog. hehhehe..

Saya bukan sengaja mencipta alasan. tapi itulah sebenarnya rutin harian saya. Untuk update entry yang ini pun, semalam saya hanya tidur sesudah subuh sebab saya settlekan dulu satu album client, lepas tu saya tunggu pulak lah broadband ni mengupload gambar2 ni ke flickr, yang tahap kelajuannya adalah sangat menyedihkan. :-(

Oklah cukup bercerita tentang itu. Di sini saya nak kongsi satu majlis harijadi yang saya capture beberapa bulan lepas.. hehhehe.. buat Arissa dan Aariz double celebration. CD dan albumnya sudah diserahkan lama.. cuma hehhe tak berpeluang upload di blog.

Mama mereka telah membuat 2 theme yang berbeza untuk mereka berdua. Aariz pirate party, manakala Arissa pula Princess party. Ini kali ketiga saya bekerja dengan mereka dan nampaknya kanak2 ni pun sudah biasa dan tidak kekok dengan saya. Saya harap semua dapat merasa keseronokan yang sama melihat gambar2 ini ya.
