Majlis Aqiqah Chinta Qiesya

Sabtu lepas saya berkesempatan ke majlis ini.. Cinta adalah anak kedua 'x' officemate saya masa bekerja dulu; kak Jaja. Terkejut saya apabila dapat call dari dia dan minta saya ambil gambar aqiqah anaknya.. masa tu saya fikir.. eh kan dah besar anak dia tu dah nak masuk 3 tahun kalau tak silap.. rupa2nya.. untuk anak kedua.. laa... saya tak tau pun yang dia pregnant masa saya resigned dulu.... ye lah masa tu mungkin baru awal2 pregnant kan.. hehehhe..

apapun kak Jaja, congratulations on your new bundle of joy. Sedap nama dia secomel orangnya.. Thanks ye kak Ja sebab sudi suruh saya ambil gambar majlis yang cantik ini.. lain kali boleh la jemput lagi.. ;-) ehhehehe.. nanti kirim salam orang2 Apex ye... :D

Baby I the prince charming

As I promised before.. ok ni pula prince Idlan, Lydia's lil brother.. Personality Idlan lain sikit dari kakaknya.. kalau kakak.. lebih friendly dan bising mulutnya.. Idlan pula lebih pendiam, releks dan cool sahaja.. jarang dengar dia menangis.. susah jugak nak capture his smiley face.. because most of the time riak wajah Idlan sangat bersahaja... Sometimes, it was the most chalenging task ever.. to have the children look closely to the camera and smiling.. yes.. some people loves candid and more natural shots.... but to tell you the truth, that's what the parents and my clients want the most... they wanted their kids to look at the camera and say cheeesee smiiileee...:-) and also.. that's what I always aiming for everytime i take picture...

so again, I challenge myself and I strive very hard that day to make it happen.. and to make the parents happy too.. I'm not quite remember what did I do that made he laughed at me.. yang saya ingat.. saya kena buat rupa ala2 badut sikit mata juling2 sikit.. baru Idlan nak ketawa.. and the kakak pun played the important role here... thanks kakak for helping me to explore your lil' brother deeper.. I was thrilled when I looked back at the pics I took, banyak juga rupanya wajah2 Idlan tersenyum.. so I think it was a success for me... hehhehe bukan senang nak ambil gambar budak betul2 ketawa (at least for me ).. and most importantly not a fake smile.. we have to capture their true personality.. especially when their eyes look at the camera but they still look naturally smile/laugh, so gambar tak nampak macam kaku ataupun dibuat-buat... so tough.. so challenging... in fact i'm still in learning process too to have a better communication and interaction with the kids.. It's not only about "taking picture", or the composition, or the lighting or about the technical thingy, dan juga bukan semata2 untuk melihat gambar yang telah kita hasilkan.. tetapi juga bagaimana kiter mendalami jiwa subjek yang kita ambil.. dan bagaimana ingin medapatkan keserasian apabila bekerja bersama2 mereka.. to have the connection with the subject, pada saya itu lebih penting... supaya kita selesa, mereka pun selesa ;-) I hope by having chances to knowing more children in the future, and with the experience I gained in each of the children I photographed.. I will improve myself and my pictures from time to time insyaAllah..

Birthday parties preview..

Ini birthday parties I attended last 2 weeks.. bulan August ni nampaknya ramai buat Birthday.. saya dan family sangat seronok menghadiri semua jemputan.. walaupun ada beberapa party yang kami tak dapat pergi.. sebab clash with my schedule.. tapi terima kasih kerana menjemput.. maaf ye kami tak dapat datang...InsyaAllah next time mungkin boleh jumpa :D

Irfan la paling best.. he always loves to make new friends.. and he enjoyed every second he spent at every party he attend... Alhamdulillah.. dia dah get used to it and tak kacau mama dia buat keja.. dia buat hal sendiri je.... and kali ni mulut dia dah start bising.. so dia tolong mama agah2 the birthday boy/girl untuk diambil gambar.. kadang2 dia nyanyi2 jugak lagu twinkle2 little star utk menggembirakan the birthday boy/girl.. hihihi... so all the guests tahulah dia anak the photographer yang merangkap assistant photographer jugak..

Miss L the charming princess

Cuba cakap..kenapa comel sangat nihh.. kenapa..? ?

Percaya tak.. budak cheeky ni kan sangat fobia, trauma, ketakutan dan gerun dengan semua jenis serangga.. masa shoot hari tu.. kalau ada semut ke... nyamuk ke.. ataupun butterfly berdekatan dengan kawasan kejadian.. meraung2 dia ketakutan.. saya nak gelak ada... tapi bila tengok dia menangis teresak2 tu.. kesian pun ada.. tapi part paling best.. Miss Lydia ni sangatlah permahnyaa... mudah mesra dengan sesiapa sahaja.. boleh dikatakan.. the most talkative kid i've ever photoshoot.. seronok jugaklah saya melayan dia berborak hari tu.. :-) dan dia pun pandai mintak nak shoot dekat mana.. macamana... dan ada jugak bagi saya idea.. comel kan?

... and today, I just knew that she is a niece of JayJay from the popular Hitz.Fm Morning Crew.. hehehe... I found it out after a funny chat with a dear friend (nama terpaksa dirahsiakan.. hehehe) let see how was the conversation like..

her : Sis.. that Eva Fernandez in ur blog... she.. daughter of JJ ke? the morning crew hitzfm? Rudy and Jayjay tu..

me : hah? ye ke? i dunno.. what make u say that?

her : from her name... Fernandez.. so familiar.. I know la.. i tgk her surname pun i dah tau.. u said this girl mix of indian chinese and malay.. JJ married to a chinese la..

me : Oh ye ke??? Seriously I dunno.. ye lah.. eva's mom is chinese..

her : how do u know him.?

me : his wife email me asking for the package.. and they said their friend introduce me to them.

her : ic.. ic.. ye lah kak.. he got a sis too.. who won Amazing Race last time.. her name.. sabrina..

me : ha ye lah... after the shot.. they showed me their family photos.. including the one who won the Amazing Race.. they told me she is his sister.. his sister married to a matsalleh.. and he showed me his other family pics tu..

her : haa... ye lah tu...its him! wow!! u shoot daughter JJ hitzfm la kakk!!

me : not only his daughter!! I shoot JJ too.. and his wife of course! ( masa ni dah perasan giler dah.. wakakaka! malu beb bila ingat balik..) But yg i know that d.j is 'big'.

her : no.. the big one is Rudy lah.. u shot the thin one kan..

me : yes.. yes.. the thin one.. but how come i didn't know i shoot a celebrity family? i mean a popular radio d.j.. hikhik.. and he just being so nice too me.. and very humble and kind too ( apa punya statement daaa... habis tu celebrity not kind ke.. hikhik.. jgn marah haaa...)

her : hahahha.. apa lah akak nii... (gelak terbahak2) kelakar la u ni...

me : adoi.. malunya i... how come i dunno.. mesti dia pelik je kan.. why i tak kenal him (hahahhaha! statement ni mcm bagus)

her : U got his photo rite.. let me see it for approval..

me : yes yes sure.. but let me tell my hubby 1st.. and my kakak too..

( at this time i was really bz being kepochi to my hubby, sis, and oh.. not forgotten my close frens too...hahahaha.. adoihhh maluuu!! my sis lagi best.. when i showed her the pic of eva's dad, she confidently said it was JJ.. siap ckp "apa la ko niii.. takkan ko tak kenal... tapi yang ni muka dia lain sket ek.. hari tu tgk cam bulat.." hahahha! then she added... "wow.. best lah ko JJ dah baca blog ko..." hahahhaha!)

me : let me upload their pic 1st in my flickr.. ha ni... dapat tak...?

her : jap loading...

after several seconds...

here comes the most embarassing part..

her : oh... nooo lah kakkkk...!!! this is his brother la... JJ married to a very chinese one.. i mean a very fair chinese one... and his face is round shape.. not this.. this is his brother laa...

me : ko biar betul!!! but this one married to a chinese too.. mix malay and chinese..

her : no.. no.. JJ's wife is real chinese...

me : aiyoo..... ok let me show u their family's pic i saw in their flickr. (they gave me the link of their BIL's flickr too on that day ~oh by the way.. their BIL is a grreaat photographer too~.. so.. i showed one of the pic to her)

her : ha... ye lahhh... JJ is yang kanan sekaliiii... yg u shoot ni his brother laaa.... hahahahha ( gelak terbahak2) hahhaha.. me soooo over excited la kak... nasib u tak tulis lagi that u're shooting JJ's daughter... hahahahahah!

( actually I was about to type it anyway... hhahahahha)

me : ye lah nasib tak tulis lagi kan.. .. wakakkakakak.. apalah me.. next time i have to read more magz or paper on entertainment section laaaa... huhuhu.. but ok lah kan... i shoot JJ's niece whatttt... kihkihkih...

dear Emelia & Zachy jangan tersedak2 pulak yer... hihihi.. its my bad.. my bad..i was just toooo overwhelm... hikhikhik.. but this is truly an experience for me... thanks for allowing and having me to capture your beautiful Eva.... :-) Funny me lah kan.. padahal.. u guys have showed me ur family photos that day kan? and JJ included.. baru I ingat.. the handsome lil' boy yang u tunjuk hari tu was JJ's son kan... hihihihi... anyway, is there any possibility for me to shoot them next time...? kihkihkih... ;-)

Ariz Faruq's party time!

Cuba tengok wajah birthday boy ni.. kemain suka dia sambut besday dia kan... memang umur2 macam ni best sambut besday derang.. sebab they have start to learn and appreciate their own party.. Sebab tu Ariz Faruq ni pun enjoy to the max his bash!! Seronok dia ramai kawan2 dah sanak saudara yang datang.. peramah Faruq nih.. tengok sajalah.. kawan2 dia semua terdiri dari budak2 besar je.. semuanya tu jiran2 dia..

Irfan pun tak terkecuali.. seronok sangat dapat kawan baru.. same interest lak tu.. iaitu cars.... birthday Faruq ni pun sangat ceria dengan balloons and cars decor yang disediakan by his mommy.. such a lucky boy indeed! Shima.. i love the colour of your wall too ;-) nampak ceria semuanyaaa... yang pasti semua orang happy hari tu.. the birthday boy especially.. Happy birthday once again Dear Ariz Faruq.. (love his name..)

Kih kih kih.. the last picture is so funny to me.. can u spot the lil' man with baju kotak2 at the back? while mama bz snapping around.. dia pegi bz buat keja sneaking around pulak.. hahahha! Meet the Bohrman

I know, its a bit too late for me to do this entry. But.. how could I not sharing all these pictures of a wonderful family I photographed on the few weeks before they leaved Malaysia for good. They are Germany and have been staying here for 2 years.. lucky me to have knowing this family and be able to photograph them before they move to another place. This is something for them to remember.. a piece of memory they had here in Malaysia.

Remember one Germany family.. the Lammert family I shoot around August last year? Well, the Bohrman are their friend. They introduced me to this family.. and to Doreen and Stefan, I owe you so much on this one.. Hope you guys are doing great in Beijing :-) (wow its olympic now!! extra fun for you isn't it?)

There were so sweet and beautiful ( i can't stop myself from saying beautiful all the time.. because yes.. they definitely are!) and so kind too. We had such a good time at the playground and Elena & Leander having a good time licking and eating their lolipop.. They are seriously cute creature on earth. The lolipop was such a great subject too.. teheeehee.. The mom told me that she really admired the pic of the boy with lolipop at the blog tag.. and she wanted their children to have the same kind of photo, so she brought along the lolipos with her.. Thanks Susanne. It was so sweet..

It was so hard for me to choose just few pics of them out of hundreds to be post here.. I love them all!! ;-) I couldn't have asked for more. They were truly a perfect beautiful subjects. ( see.. i said beautiful again.. :D)

Its Ariana's 3rd bash!!

Sekejap betul la rasanya masa berlalu.. mcm baru semalam je attended her 2nd birthday.. and last July.. Ariana dah sambut 3rd Birthday pula.. more meaningful indeed as this time.. she celebrated her day with an addition member of her family.. She so grown up.. and now already called herself "Kakak" .. being very protective for her new lil' sister Alia.. but this girl.. has a cheekier personality as ever..

she so smart and talkative too.. dengan suara dia yang halus tu.. she always being a centre of attraction for everybody.. She so special.. and so very near to me.. luv u.. Kakak Ariana.. may all the happiness will always be yours.. Jaga Arlia baik2 k.. jgn selalu2 gaduh ngan Sis Arisha tau!!

Di Ambang Ramadhan

I'm so sorry to have neglected the blog a bit. I'm still in vacay mood? nope. nope.. but so much things happened lately.. and so little time to jot down here.. and most of them are unexpectedly.. will try to catch things up slowly InsyaAllah :-) Hopefully everything will be back to normal..

So here they are friends, some more pictures for the Ambang Ramadhan (or shud i just say a pre-raya) photoshoot session I promised to post not long time ago.. hehhee..

When we arranged the appointment for this session, Safiya just told me that they dedicated this session to their beloved parents as a present for their wedding anniversary.. tak expect langsung mereka semua akan pakai baju kebangsaan yang manis2 begini.. They all looked so cheery in those beautiful and bright colour outfit.. and me was like wow!!! what a surprise.. we are having a hari raya photoshoot here... *wink2.. apa lagi many things came to mind laa...

Mestilah I was sooo much excited..and very honoured and happy to do the the photography session with them.. as the picture will be use for their family's hari raya card.. and will be printed on the sampul duit raya.. best tgk family ni... each of them superly camera friendly, so sporting.. and they were not shy to strike any type of pose..so natural.. so cheerful.. and yet sometimes so touching (esp the salam2 scene between each of them with the parents) thus my work become easier alhamdulillah ;-) (very much thanks to them) they are very close with each other.. with 4 girls in the family.. and looking at their bonding with each other reminds me of my own family.. (oh maybe we shud do this with my family too.. hopefully b4 puasa sempat slot in kejap ..huhuhu)

Uncle and auntie was awesome too! They were so lovely together.. so did their grandson, Zaim.. the very most cutest kid of the day... I was totally happy with all the shots.. one more new experience for me indeed.. Thank you very much to all of you..
